You can access the Aircraft Reference Activity through this icon:
An aircraft reference activity is a non-flying activity associated with a specific aircraft registration. Here are some examples:
- Ad-Hoc maintenance check
- Aircraft Photo session
- Painting
- Cleaning.
Creating an Aircraft Reference Activity
To create an Aircraft Reference Activity and insert it onto the N-OC schedule Gantt, right-click the Gantt in between flights/legs until this window appears:
Select the Airc. icon.
Enter:
- Start Date Time
- End Date Time
- Station
- Reference Activity.
Note: You can optionally change the date, and the start/end time.
The reference activity must be of type Aircraft: AOG, MAINT, or SPARE. The note is of type “Reference Activity”.
Click the NEXT button.
Note: Where you click in the Gantt will determine the proposed Start Date Time for the Vehicle Reference Activity.
The End Date Time uses the default number of minutes as defined in the Reference Activity - "Default Length Minutes".
The reference activity name and the defined color are displayed on the Vehicle Reference Activity block.
The Actual Times checkbox toggle may be used when scheduled Maintenance Checks are delayed due to daily operation rotations.
The color changes to transparent.
