Controlling Visibility of the Roster Between Crewmembers

Sharing and Unsharing Rosters

'AllowViewEachOtherRoster' controls and manages the visibility of the roster between crewmembers.


Roster Visibility Settings

  • To make the Crew Roster visible for all employees, the value should be set to 'All' and saved.
  • If you want to hide the crew roster between employees, set the 'No' value and save it.
  • When it is set to 'Selected', employees can choose which specific crewmembers or groups will be able to see their roster.
  • If you choose the 'ByBase' value, the roster will be seen by the members of a specific base. This is reflected in the dropdown list in 'MyRoster'.
  • The 'Department' value makes the roster visible only between the members of a certain department.



Procedure for the 'Selected' Setting

When the 'AllowViewEachOtherRoster' value is set to 'Selected', crewmembers must actively share their roster with others:

  • To provide permission to other crewmembers, enter the Human Resources section under Settings.
  • You can choose the crewmembers who you wish to share your roster with by selecting and deselecting the checkbox by their name and employee number.



System Note

Enabling the 'AllowViewEachOtherRoster' function in N-OC Web will affect the N-OC Mobile system.
