Schedule Gantt

To view the Schedule Gantt, you can write it in the Search function in the menu:


Alternatively, you can click the Schedule tab then the Schedules button.


If you predefine Schedule as a Favorite in User Preferences, it is here:


Another way to open the Schedule Gantt is to select CTRL + ALT + s  or AltGR + s on your keyboard. Once you have opened the Roster Gantt and loaded period, it looks like this:


The contents of Schedule Gantt

The Gantt is divided into two panes. In the upper, you will find two windows with vehicles and activities. In the lower, cancel flights. If you do not have any canceled flights, this pane is not visible.


The Eye option is a quick function for you to control what you see on the screen. 

Note: The display settings are not saved. To go back to default settings, you have to close the Gantt. Permanent settings are made in the Web through User Preference.


Depending on the window and view, there are different options you can choose from. Common options for all views are: 

  • Row heights
  • Opacity
  • Height.

Row HeightAdjusts size of each row in the Gantt.
Opacity

Defines schedule and/or operation puck. Drag the leg opacity to the left to view the original schedule. Drag it back to the right to view the operational situation again.

HeightThe height of the leg or activity.


Select a Reference activity

You must select the Reference activity you want to use, then activate the button shown below. The cursor changes to the date and time of where you are pointing.

In the dropdown list, you find all reference activities. The last selected reference activity is shown to the right.


Ruler

The ruler is used to calculate something over a period. Activate the ruler, hold the left mouse, and drag over a period. The first time you use the ruler it might be without calculators.

  

Click the ruler in the window.


Select a calculator and Save. You can add multiple calculators. 

 

The calculated value now displays. 


Move

Selecting this icon opens a Move dialog and you can make changes from there. You can also mark the activity and drag it to another vehicle.


Globe

This icon opens a Map where you can zoom in or out.


Wizard

Depending on where they are opened from, you will have different Wizards. One can be opened from the Gantt and one from the Schedule Menu bar.


Filter

The user can filter the information displayed using either the user-defined filter definitions or the standard filters.

 

Search

Depending on the window, it allows you to search for different kinds of items, such as flights, activities, or leg coverage to be displayed and highlighted.


You need to choose “label” in the dropdown and write what you are looking for in the textbox.


Your match is marked in blue and moved up to the top of the window.


Statistics

Depending on the window, it opens a Statistics dialog.


Tasklist

The Tasklist displays on the right side of the screen.


You can close it using the X and reopen from the toolbar in the top.


The below image shows features that are Not in Use.
