Group notes are used for cases when a user wants to send notifications to definite groups.
Group notes can be added and displayed in reports and N-OC Mobile.
Group Notes allows adding messages to definite groups according to chosen filter and note type.
Datatype: It will in most cases be HumanResource as the note is supposed to go to the crew.
Valid from/To: This is a mandatory field.
Frequency: Select days where the note is valid.
Group note type:
- CIAO - WEB roster
- ROSTER - Paper roster
- Request - WEB request
- Payroll - Payroll reports
- Swaps - WEB swaps
Add Filters
You can add very complex filters to the message (built in Roster filters).
This can direct the Group note to specific smaller groups.

One example of using group notes is to display the meaning or a Reference Activity on the roster in Mobile.
