The Roster Gantt is split into two separate Gantts, and both can be adjusted by using the Gantt View dropdown option below the date display to the left.
The options are:
- Legs
- Crew
- Pairings
- Requests
- Training
- Swap
- Vacation
- Ground Tasks.
Out of these options, the following have different menu bars, which will be covered below:
- Legs
- Crew
- Pairings
- Requests.
Leg Gantt
Directly to the right of the Gantt View dropdown in the Leg Gantt, there are two filter options:
- Filter: Allows the application of the defined Leg Filters.
- Crew Coverage Filters: Allows the application of Crew Complement Filters on the leg or pairing view. In this case, the tool tip and coverage coloring of the leg will be based only on the selected ranks.
Search Flight
Clicking this arrow opens a leg search function, where it is possible to search by departure and arrival stations as well as flight numbers.
The Refresh button will refresh any changes in the Roster Gantt, such as periods or view options.
Fleet Tracker
Clicking the Fleet Tracker button opens the Fleet Tracker view.
Crew Gantt
Clicking the arrow to the right of the Gantt View Dropdown will display the filter dropdown showing the available Roster Filters. There are Show and Mark options for the filters as well.
The Refresh button will refresh any changes in the Roster Gantt, such as periods or view options. Trying to refresh with unsaved changes to the crew rosters will give a warning, and if the refresh is made, those changes will be lost.
Clicking either the eye or the arrow below it will display additional hide options.
The Gantt will update immediately when any of the following options are checked:
- Hide Last on Chox
- Hide Hotels
- Hide Rests
- Hide CI/CO.
Crew Gantt Search
This search option allows for searches in All, Name, EmpNo, or Roster.
The search options can be modified by the user preference GanttCrewDisplay. Once something is defined here, these will become the available options, together with Roster. It is possible to search for reference activity codes, crew names, or employment numbers, or all three options together.
Crew Gantt Period
The Period menu shows the open period as well as which Roster Periods are in the open period.
Roster Wizard Button
The Roster Wizard button opens the Roster Wizard menu.
Assign Reference Activity
The dropdown menu next to the Assign Roster-Activities icon is to choose which reference activity to assign. Clicking the button activates him and makes it possible to either click anywhere on the Roster Gantt to assign the chosen activity, or to hold the left button and drag the mouse over the period the activity should be assigned on.
When activated, the Assign Roster-Activities icon will "light up", and will deactivate and return to normal when clicked on again.
Search Crew Candidate
Before the Search Crew Candidate icon is clicked, the user should select uncovered flight(s) or paring(s). When clicked, the Search Crew Candidate menu is opened.
Move
Clicking the Move icon will open the Move menu, which gives the user various search options.
Hotel Wizard Icon
Clicking the Hotel Wizard icon opens the Hotel Wizard menu.
Auto Assign
Clicking the Auto Assign icon opens the Auto Assign menu.
Deadhead Wizard
Clicking the DH icon opens the DeadHead Wizard.
Pairing Gantt
With the Search function, it is possible to search for Roster Block id's or for instance all MMX pairings, while the Crew Coverage Filters allows the application of Crew Complement Filters on the pairing assignment level.
The Refresh button refreshes any changes in the Pairing Gantt, such as periods or view options.
Assign Reference Activity
The dropdown menu next to the Assign Roster-Activities icon is to choose which reference activity to assign. Up to three custom buttons with commonly used reference activities can be defined in the user preferences under the setting "Crew reference activities".
When activated, the Assign Roster-Activities icon will "light up", and will deactivate and return to normal when clicked again.
Block Wizard
Clicking the Block Wizard icon activates the Block Wizard.
Consolidating Pairings
The consolidate option will compress the pairings on as few lines as possible.
Request Gantt
Clicking the Request Group icon opens the Request Group menu, where you can define the request groups.
