You can access the Company Types through this list item:
You can manage your list of company types by adding, editing, copying, and deleting them. Company type is a property used when defining companies.
To search for a company type, enter the name or code and click the SEARCH button. The result displays in the same dialog window.
Creating a new Company Type
- Enter text Name.
- Select the Active checkbox if the company type is to be used.
Once the parameters are defined, select the SAVE button. The information is committed to the database and the new entry appears in the existing list of items. To discard a new item before saving, select the CANCEL button. The information will be removed and the window closed.
Editing an existing Company Type
All company types in the list can be edited. If more than one company type is needed to be edited, select the checkbox to the left of the company type and select the EDIT button. Each item appears in a separate window and can be edited. After clicking the EDIT button, the company type details appears and you can edit fields as required. After editing, click the SAVE button to commit changes to the database. To discard changes. click the CANCEL button.
Copying an existing Company Type
To copy an existing Company Type, select the checkbox of the company type that is to be copied and click the COPY button. The EDIT dialogue window displays and the new parameters can be entered. After editing, click the SAVE button to commit changes to the database. To discard changes, click the CANCEL button.
Deleting an existing Company Type
Company types that are no longer required can be deleted.
Indicate the company type that is to be deleted by selecting the checkbox to the left of the item and selecting the DELETE button. The item is removed from the database and is no longer visible in the list of available items.
