General all Gantts

Rosters, Roster Block and Schedule Gantts are using the same template.
 
In this section we will look at what is common to the Gantt's

 
Filter Search and Sort:
 
The Gantt is divided into 4 windows, an upper part with two windows and a lower part with two windows.
 
The Filter Search and Sorting apply to the window it resides.
 
The content in the drop-down boxes depend on which of the Gantts you are using. It will be described under individual modules.
The Eye:
The Eye settings control how the window appear.
 
You can either drag the ruler if you want big moves, or single click on the white line to make small steps.
 
 
 
 
 
Note: The display settings aren't saved, and to go back to the default settings you have to close the gantt.
 
Row Height:
 
 
 
 
Color & Height will be discussed under the individual Gantts
 
 
Back & Back:
This option control the foreground and background colors from black to white.
 
 
Select an activity:
 
Activate the button and click/drag on an activity.
 
Hold the Ctrl key and drag over an activity has the same effect.
Select a Reference activity:
 
You must first select the Reference activity you want to use, then activate the .
The cursor will change to the date and time of where you are pointing.
In the drop down list you find all reference activities.
Reference activities of Data type "Vehicle" will be shown in the Schedule, TimeTable Gantt and in Roster Gantt when "Company Activity" has been selected.
 
For all other windows Reference activities of Data type "Human Resource" will be shown.
 
 
The last selected reference activity is shown to the right..
 
When you click on the activity box you can scroll through the used activities in this session.
 
 
 
Ruler:
The ruler is used to calculate something over a period.
 
Activate the ruler, hold the left mouse and drag over a period.
 
The first time you use the ruler it might be without calculators.
 
 
 
Click on the ruler in the window.
 
 
 
 
 
Select a calculator and Save.
You can add multiple calculators.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The calculated value will now be displayed.
Move:
Depending on the window it will open a Move dialog.
Move will be described in the respective sections.
Globe:
Depending on the window it will open a Map dialog.
Wizard:
Depending on the window it will open a Wizard dialog.
Wizards will be described in the respective sections.
Statistics:
Depending on the window it will open a statisticsdialog.
Statistics will be described in the respective sections.
