Training Wizard

The Training Wizard is used to automatically create training sessions in bulk. You can access the Training Wizard through this icon:

Training Sessions Generator

The Training Sessions Generator allows users to create several training sessions at once with the same important values for different days.

The window is divided into six parts:

  • Generator parameters: Used to define period properties for which training sessions should be generated

  • Training session parameters: Used to define important training session properties that should be set in generated training sessions

  • Generate button generates training sessions based on the data entered in 2 above sections

  • Generated training sessions: displays the result of the generation

  • Save button - saves all the training sessions that are visible in the table above

  • Status bar displays messages (warning or errors that are raised i.e. during generation or saving)

Generator parameters

  • Start and end hour for all training sessions that shall be generated.
    • For example: 0900-1700. Additionally, with "Local time" checkbox one can define whether start and end time are in UTC (unchecked) or local time (selected Training facility local time) (checked).
  • Valid from and Valid to calendar pickers are used to define start and end of the period in which training sessions shall be generated.
    • For example: When setting valid from to 10MAR18 and valid to to 12MAR18, up to three training sessions will be generated (for 10MAR18, 11MAR18, 12MAR18).
  • Frequency field is used to select days of week within given period of time (see valid from and valid to fields) in which training sessions shall be generated
    • For example: If we select all days of week for period 10MAR18-12MAR18, we will get three training sessions (for 10MAR18 (Saturday), 11MAR18 (Sunday), 12MAR18 (Monday)). If we select Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we will get three training sessions (for 10MAR18 (Saturday), 11MAR18 (Sunday), 12MAR18 (Monday)). If we select Saturday and Monday, we will get two training sessions (for 10MAR18 (Saturday) and 12MAR18 (Monday)).

Training session parameters

You define the most important fields of a training session that should be populated for each generated training session (see also training session dialog). You can save those settings as a template (see right hand side combo box group with refresh, save, and delete buttons).

Note: Saved template can be reused later when generating the same (or almost the same values) for different date (valid from/valid to), time (start/end), and frequency periods.

Generated training sessions

Table shows the result of generation after pressing Generate button. You can change the values in each cell (see also training session dialog) and Delete a row (delete button in the last column).

Note: The date and times shown in the table are in UTC time (not in local time, even if local time checkbox in "generator parameters" section is checked).

Click the Save button, and if you open the “Training sessions”, you can see all the available sessions.
