What is important here is:

  • Format
  • Activity Filter
  • Pre Departure (which controls how early the Gendec should be sent).

Normally the Human Resource Filters will catch all crew. For Passport and License, you can choose which document to use. To enable License, you need to check the box for Pilot License.

Most of the other settings are only relevant for setting up APIS.

Select the Active checkbox before you click the Save button.

5. Open Automation from the top left wheel and the tab Events and click new:

  • Event should be APIS.
  • Data Type should be selected as Human Resources.
  • In Filter, you select the APIS setup you created in the previous step.

Hint: You can search for email addresses in the system, and add them to the Selected panel, or add the email addresses separated by semicolons in the Address input field.

7. You can create a Gendec report filter and use it directly in the APIS configuration dialog by selecting a report filter. Selecting this option will disable the passport and license settings in the APIS configuration.

Hint: The Show Operator option in the Gendec report is not available in the APIS configuration, so you will need to use the report filter option to utilize this feature.
