The Schedule Wizard is used to analyze, export, compare, and expand schedule information.
You can find it through two ways:
- Open Desktop - Factory Schedule - Schedule Wizard.
- Typing in Wizard in the Search field then clicking Schedule Wizard icon.
The Contents of Schedule Wizard
Content | Action |
Schedule Import | The Schedule Import is a tool used to import flight schedule/flight legs from external source, such as Standard Schedule Information Message (SSIM-file). Refer to the Schedule Import article for further information. |
Upload Workfile | Not in use. |
Schedule Export | This tool allows you to export schedules from the Gantt into a SSIM file or SSM/ASM message. |
ASM / SSM Import | This tool allows you to import Schedule or Ad Hoc data using the ASM/SSM message format. |
SSIM
Field | Description |
Period | The period you want to create the SSIM file for. |
Template | If you already have a file or filename, you want to modify or overwrite. You can skip this if you want to create a new file. |
Format | SSIM is predefined. |
Release | Creation day of the SSIM file. It defaults to today and cannot be changed. |
Press select, name your file, and save it in a folder. After, press the Next button and your data will be visible on the screen.
Click the Save button then the Open button. You will then see the SSIM file. It has now been exported and are ready to be sent out from your folder.
ASM/SSM Export
Field | Description |
Period | The period you want to create the ASM/SSM file for. |
Template | If you already have a file or filename, you want to modify or overwrite. You can skip this if you want to create a new file. Name your ASM/SSM file and press select and save the file in a folder. |
Format | Select New or Replace. |
Release | Creation day of the ASM/SSM file. It defaults to today and cannot be changed. |
Click the Next button and your data will be visible on the screen.
After, click the Save button then the Open button. You will then see the ASM/SSM file. It has now been exported and are ready to be sent out from your folder.
ASM/SSM Import
- Click Select and the SSM/ASM file you would like to export. After, click the Next button.
This is an example of an SSM file. - Your file will be visible on the screen. Click the Next button.
- You will see the result and click the Next button. If there is a conflict, it will be visible.
- Click the Save button.
- Reload the Gantt and your flights are in the “ghost lines” ready to be Moved to real tails.
