Filter: Depending on the view setting, the filter options will change.

You have the following options:

Search:  The search is linked to the Show/Select options. Show will mark and move to the top. Select will mark activities in the zoomed period. Select the data type and enter your search.

Filter: The data comes from Roster Filters.
