To assign flights to crew members, the Roster Gantt needs to be open. One half should be set to display legs/pairings and the other half to display crews. Displays can be chosen from the Gantt View Dropdown at the left end of the menu bars in the Roster Gantt.
You mark a flight to be assigned either by:
- activating the Select symbol
- holding the Ctrl key and clicking on the leg.
You can also hold the Ctrl key and click and drag over multiple flights to mark them all at the same time.
Click on one of the selected legs and drag down to the crew member.
Repeat as needed until the flights are fully covered. The process is the same for legs and pairings.
Note: If you don't like drag and drop, you can use the user preference setting "GanttAssignOnClick". With this method, you will select the flights.
