Clicking the Projects icon opens up the projects menu where the user can set up various projects.
You can find the project through entering it's name in the SEARCH field and clicking the respective button. To add a project, click the NEW button. To edit an existing project, click the EDIT button. Clicking the DELTE button deletes an existing project. Clicking the COPY button duplicates an existing project and it is then editable to the current parameters you want.
When creating a new project or editing an existing project, fill out the necessary fields. They are:
- Name - This is the name of the project. It is a mandatory field.
- Project Number - Enter the number that's associated with the project.
- Shortcode - Enter the shortcode of the project. This is a mandatory field.
- Cost Centers - Choose a Cost Center from the dropdown. To configure a Cost Center to assign to a Project, please see “Cost Centers” (ex. a Project may be associated with a Cost Center such as Gate Handling).
- Company - Choose a Company from the dropdown. To configure a Company to assign to a Project, please see “Companies” (ex. a Project may be assigned to a series of Charter Flights being operated on behalf of another company).
