Roster Filters

To access the Roster Filters, click this icon and/or tab:


To search for roster filters:

  1. Type name in search field
  2. Click the SEARCH button. 
  3. The result will be displayed in the same dialog window. 


Roster filters may be used for numerous activities, such as:

  • number of landings
  • simulator sessions
  • ETOPS flights
  • day off requests
  • mid- / and long-haul flights
  • crew hotel mismatch, etc.


Creating a new Roster Filters

To create a new Roster Filters, do the following:

  1. Click the New button to create a new roster filter.
  2. Enter the text name in the respective field. 
  3. Define Valid From/Valid To dates.
  4. Select Public if the roster filter can be edited and reviewed by any user. 
  5. Select Protected if other users have no permission to edit the roster filter. 
  6. Select Private if the roster filter is available only for the user who created it. 
  7. Select Inherited and Group from the dropdown list.
  8. Select the Active checkbox if the roster filter is to be used. 


Once the parameters are defined, select the SAVE button. The information is committed to the database and the new entry appears in the existing list of items. To discard a new item prior to saving, select the CANCEL button. The information will be removed and the window closed. 

 

Editing an existing Roster Filter

To edit a Roster Filter, click the EDIT button. If more than one Roster Filters is needed to be edited, select the appropriate checkboxes. After clicking the EDIT button, each item will appear in a separate window and can be edited in turn. Once the required amendments have been made, select the SAVE button to commit the changes to the database. To discard changes, click the CANCEL button.

Copying an existing Roster Filter

A Roster Filter can be copied to create a Roster Filter using the following procedure. 

Indicate the Roster Filters by selecting the checkbox and selecting the COPY button. The EDIT dialogue window is displayed and the new parameters can be entered. To save changes, click the SAVE button. To discard changes, click the CANCEL button. 

 

Deleting an existing Roster Filter

Roster Filters that are no longer required can be deleted by clicking the DELETE button. To delete multiple Roster Filters, select checkboxes of appropriate codes and click the DELETE button.
