To search for leg filters, type in the search field and click the Search button. The result displays in the same dialog window.
Creating a new Leg Filter
1. Click the New button to create a new leg filter. A new window appears.
Note: If you cannot see the Cancel or Save button at the bottom of the window, move the window up into the frame.
2. Enter the name that will become the Leg Filter Name system-wide
3. Define Valid From and Valid To dates. If you set the Valid from date to a date in the past, the filter will be active immediately. You can also set the date to a date in the future to prevent the filter from working until the date specified.
Selecting the Viewing/Editing Permissions of the Leg Filter
Public | Can be edited/reviewed by any user. |
Protected | Other users have no permission to edit. |
Private | Only the user who created this filter can use it. |
1. If the leg filter is Inherited, choose an item from the dropdown list.
2. Select the Group from the dropdown list if necessary.
3. Define the Sort Order.
4. Select the Active checkbox if the leg filter is to be used.
5. Click the Save button to move on to the next step.
6. Once the parameters are defined, select the Save button. The information will be committed to the database and the new entry appears in the existing list of items. To discard a new item prior to saving, select the Cancel button and the information will be removed and the window closed.
Editing an existing Leg Filter
To edit a leg filter, select the filter you intend to edit and click the Edit button. If more than one leg filter needs editing, select the appropriate checkboxes. After clicking the Edit button, each item appears in a separate window and can be edited.
Once the required amendments have been made, click the Save button to commit the changes to the database. To discard changes, click the Cancel button.
Copying existing Leg Filters
A leg filter can be copied to create a new leg filter by:
- indicating the leg filter by selecting the checkbox,
- clicking the Copy button.
- the Edit dialogue window displays and the new parameters can be entered.
- Click the Save button to save changes or click the Cancel button to discard changes.
Deleting an existing Leg Filter
Leg filters that are no longer required can be deleted by clicking the Delete button. To delete multiple leg filters, select the checkboxes for the appropriate filters and click the Delete button.
